I always thought

the 12 days of Christmas

were the 12 days leading up to Christmas.

Wrong!

It starts on Christmas Day

and goes for 12 days.

Since I didn't do an

advent calendar blog,

I thought I'd do the 12 days of Christmas.

Or rather,

the 12 days of Cape Town.

So,

On the first day of Christmas,

Santa came to our hotel.
